I would rather not have to write this page... But, since society seems to be evermore litigious, I really don't have a choice. I have to lay out, in black and white, the rules of the game.

My terms are pretty straightforward and common sense. I am a reasonable and fair person, and am not in the business of trying to screw people. On the contrary, my hope and wish is that you will be very successful, and I will do everything in my power to help you to achieve that success. I hope that you, too, are a fair and reasonable person. But, since I don't know you (yet!), I do have to lay out some ground rules for my protection in case you aren't. I am sorry to have to be blunt, but this program is not for everyone. If you can agree to my terms I will welcome you with open arms. If you can't, well, then it is best if we part ways.

So what are my terms?

Let me summarise them briefly and make it really simple: I don't have any liability for anything, and I don't promise you anything. My affiliate (reseller) program is a free bonus that anyone can sign up for. There is no charge for participation. I can terminate your affiliate status at any time, without notice or reason.

Here are my terms in more detail:

Joining the Program.

By filling out the affiliate signup form you will automatically become an Allegretto Ltd. affiliate. Your participation in the program is solely for this purpose: to legally advertise the various Allegretto Ltd. sites (such as 7stepstofreedom.com, good-child-guide.com, etc.) and services and receive a commission on sales generated by your referrals. You must be 18 years of age to join.
You also agree to receive periodic mailings to affiliates regarding the Allegretto Ltd. affiliate program, and you also agree to the more general Terms of Use for each and everyone one of our websites. These Terms are appended at the end of the Affiliate Agreement.

Affiliate Tracking

After signing up for the program you will receive a unique affiliate URL which you will use to advertise our websites. When someone clicks through this URL a cookie will be set in their browser with your affiliate ID and their IP address will also be logged with your affiliate ID. During that visit to our website or any later visit, when a purchase is made the commission will be given based on the existence of the cookie or a match of the IP address in the database. However if, before a prospect buys anything, (s)he visits another affiliate and then clicks on that affiliate's link to our site, then the cookie and IP login will be changed to reflect the most recent affiliate. In this case, if the prospect buys, it is the more recent affiliate that will receive the commission.
Cookies are set to expire after 365 days.

Affiliate Commissions

You will be paid referral fees for every Allegretto Ltd. product or service purchased with credit card or online check. This referral fee will be a percentage of the final purchase price in accordance with the published commission rates.
Allegretto Ltd. has the right to change the commission structure for any product at any time without prior notice. At present we pay out 40-50% on Tier 1 and 10-15% on Tier 2 commissions on over 13 products. Whenever we add a new product, you will be notified of the commission structure (provided you stay on our mailing list), and you will also be notified of any changes to existing structures. As inducements to encourage sales, we sometimes bundle together products, make special offers, or devise other marketing strategies that may result in the sales price, and hence your commissions, being different from what you expect. We will pay commissions only on the actual sales price paid by the customer, not on the advertised standard price.
From time to time we will run bonus promotions with additional incentives above and beyond the commissions listed here. At such times, these additional commissions, prizes and services will be delivered in accordance with the details of the promotion.
Allegretto Ltd also sells various other products on which we do not pay any commissions. Typically these would be other people's affiliate products that we endorse, or occasionally other products (such as seminars, e-classes, etc) that might have a high cost of promotion. We reserve the right to market and sell these products to prospects that you have referred to one of your sites.
You do NOT make commissions on your own purchase of our products. You may not use your own affiliate link to buy our products. If that is your reason for signing up, forget it! All orders are verified prior to paying out any commissions.
In the event of a refund or chargeback, the affiliate (that's you) will be charged back the amount of commissions paid. Your affiliate commission balance will be reduced accordingly, and this will be reflected in your next commission payout. If your balance remains overdrawn for 3 months (owing to insufficient sales, or excessive refunds attributable to you), then you will be sent an invoice for the amount outstanding.
Allegretto Ltd will do their best to make commission payments for the previous month by the 15th of the next month. For example, any commissions earned in January will be paid by 15th of February. There are two reasons for this: a) it simplifies our accounting, and b) it allows some time for people to request refunds. This avoids the annoying situation of having to go back to you to collect money for a refund. If you can't wait that long for your money then sorry, perhaps you had better find a different program. Occasionally the payment might be a day or two late. Again, if you can't cope with that, then don't sign up. Having said all that, we DO PAY and we don't screw people around. It is in our interested to see you prosper, so we will do our very best to get payments out early rather than late. If we slip up, we will do our very best to put it right.
All commissions are paid solely through PayPal. We do not send checks or money orders if you are not able to accept a payment through PayPal. At the time of joining please make sure that your country is listed. You can do that by clicking here. We cannot be held responsible if you sign up for the program without first having checked to make sure you are listed and can be paid commissions this way.
If your country is not listed then you will not be able to receive payments and as a result, you should refrain from completing the application form. If you do not check first to make sure that your country IS listed, then make sales and cannot accept PayPal, we are under no obligation to send payments outside of PayPal.

Disclaimers

Allegretto Ltd. does NOT in any way represent that you will make even a penny from this program. The opportunity to make money is here. Whether you do anything with it is entirely down to you (and perhaps some luck). You might even lose money if you go about it the wrong way. That may sound harsh, but that is life! If you find a guaranteed way to make money that does not have any risk and requires no investment, then you must be on some kind of drugs or something!

Our Rights and Responsibilities

When you sign up as an affiliate, you also agree to receive messages from us by email, or by other means. We need to keep in touch with you to notify you of changes to commission structures, to announce new products, and to provide you with tips and tools to enhance your chances of success. If you cannot cope with receiving emails from us (and we will keep them to reasonable frequencies) please don't bother signing up!
Allegretto Ltd may revoke the affiliate status from any affiliate, at any time and for any reason without advance notice. Reasons why we might do so include:: Inappropriate advertisements (False claims, misleading hyperlinks), Spamming (mass email, mass newsgroup posting, etc...), Advertising on sites containing/promoting illegal activities or promoting explicit sexual or pornographic content, Violation of intellectual property rights (copying Allegretto Ltd material).
Allegretto ltd. can discontinue or suspend the program at any time without prior notice. The corporation has no obligation, either now or in the future, to continue to operate a program.
Allegretto ltd. can, at any time and without prior notice, change the products offered, the specifics of any product or bundle of products, and or the commissions offered. Any commissions earned up until that point will be honored. If there is a screw up (which we will try very hard to prevent but, hey, everyone is human) we reserve the right to make the necessary correction (whether positive or negative)
Allegretto Ltd. Can change or alter this agreement at any time without prior notice. Although we will make every effort to notify you of any change (normally be email to your last known email address) it is your (the affiliate's) responsibility to check for changes from time to time (The current agreement will always be displayed on the website). We can in no way be held liable for your failure to make yourself aware of any changes, and your continuing participation in the program will constitute your acceptance of any change. If any modification is unacceptable to you, your only choice is to terminate your affiliate status.

Your Rights and Responsibilities

You, the affiliate, are an independent contractor. You are in no way, shape, or form an employee of Dr. Noel Swanson nor Allegretto Ltd. You are therefore solely responsible for making sure that you comply with your country's tax laws, reporting requirements, or any other obligations imposed on you by your government. You will not represent to anyone that you are in an way connected with Allegretto Ltd or Dr. Noel Swanson, other than within the terms of this affiliate agreement. You are not a spokesman for the company, nor for any of the products. You will not do anything illegal - such as reselling products to which you do not own resell rights, use domain names that are not yours, represent that anyone can make any money whatsoever with the products. You will not hold Dr. Noel Swanson, nor Allegretto Ltd. liable for any lawsuits or other claims for damages of any sort.
To promote our products and websites you may use graphic and text links both on your website and in emails. Allegretto Ltd, or any of our products, may also be advertised "off-line" in classified ads, magazines, and newspapers.
You may use the graphics and text provided to you by Allegretto Ltd, or you may create your own as long as they are deemed appropriate according to the other conditions in this agreement.
You agree not to misrepresent Allegretto Ltd, or any of our products in any way. For example, you agree not to tell people that they can make any specific amount of money from this program or any of the products. Allegretto Ltd shall be the sole judge of what is considered a misrepresentation.
You will also refrain from using dubious or unethical business practices, including the sending of spam (unsolicited email). If there are any complaints about you sending spam, your account will be temporarily suspended until we can complete our investigation. If the case is proven against you then we reserve the right to terminate your account, and you will forfeit any commissions earned from the date of the incident about which the successful complaint is made. In short DO NOT SPAM - you will regret it. This applies to newsgroup spamming also and most specifically to FFA sites. It is against the terms to promote our products to anyone signing up for your FFA site or by purchasing any type of SAFE LIST.
You agree not to engage in any fraudulent practices in order to increase your payouts. Doing so forfeits all commissions due. Causes for termination as an affiliate can include but are not limited to fraud, suspected fraud involving your affiliate ID, spam complaints attributed to your affiliate ID, and claims or representations that are inaccurate, invalid or fraudulent.
This affiliate program is a free bonus offered by Allegretto Ltd, you have not been charged for it in any way. Through it you have the opportunity of earning commissions by advertising or promoting the products that are displayed on this site. Participation in this program does not give you the right to represent or resell any other products that Allegretto or Dr. Noel Swanson may bring out now, or in the future, unless they are explicitly included as part of this program. You do not own the resell rights to any of these products - they are not "your" products to sell, they are "our" products that you may promote (sell) on our behalf in exchange for a commission fee as described throughout this agreement. I sincerely hope that we will have an harmonious and mutually profitable relationship. However, if there are any disagreements that we cannot resolve between us, then Allegretto Ltd. reserves the right to take such disagreements to a recognised arbitration board in England, whose ruling will be final and binding.
We are operating this program in good faith for our mutual benefit. We make no claim that the operation of the 7 Steps to Freedom affiliate program will be error-free and will not be liable for any interruptions or errors. You agree not to hold Dr. Noel Swanson nor Allegretto Ltd. liable for failure to perform, for indirect or accidental damages (loss of revenue, commissions) due to affiliate tracking failures, loss of database files, and any results of "intents of harm" to the program.
This agreement is subject to the laws of Great Britain. Should any provision, section or part of this agreement be ruled illegal, not-enforceable or invalid, it will not invalidate the rest of the agreement. All other terms and provisions will remain valid, enforceable and in tact.
